Grinning from ear-to-ear, Aquaman actor Jason gushed over the brunette’s success in the industry, as he captioned the image: ‘So proud of you @emilia_clarke I love u with all my heart Aloha Drogo.’

The father-of-two continued to beam with delight as he shared another snap of himself with Emilia and wife Lisa Bonet, which he wrote alongside: ‘Me and my QUEENS.’

Jason played warrior Dothraki leader Khal in 10 episodes between 2011 and 2012, the husband of Daenerys through an arranged marriage.

Earlier that evening, Me Before You actress Emilia revealed GoT fans can expect to be ‘shocked’ when the final series of the much-loved series returns in April.

She told E! News host Ryan Seacrest: ‘It will shock people… I just think it’s going to be huge!

‘It took us a very long time to shoot this for a very good reason. I know they’ll be some things in this season that will shock people’, she added.

When asked whether she stole a prop from the iconic set as a parting gift, the Terminator Genisys actress admitted: ‘No, I’m too much of a goody two-shoes.

‘Everyone was watching me all the time. I tried to throw something under my wig but it didn’t work’, she explained.

Meanwhile, HBO president Casey Bloys revealed that he has seen the eighth series and believes fans will be satisfied with the ending.

‘Everything I have seen makes me very, very confident that this is a [season] fans are going to be very happy with,’ he told TVLine.

‘It is a dramatically and emotionally thrilling way to end the series. I believe it will live up to the very high expectations.’

Echoing their comments, Nathalie Emmanuel revealed the show has a ‘brilliant’ ending that does it ‘justice’ as fans eagerly await for the series to return to screens in April.

The former Hollyoaks star, 29, who plays the role of Daenerys’ trusted advisor Missandei, recently told The Sun: ‘It’s going to be amazing and better than any series we have had so far. It does the final series justice, it is so brilliant.

‘It’s bitter sweet, I think it’s come to its natural end. We had such a beautiful time and we have such an amazing cast that has been through so much together.

‘I think there is a really integrity to that and I completely support that and I am sad it’s ending, because I don’t get to go back and work with my friends next year or this year, so that’s sad but I think it’s a good time to. It’s an end of an era’, she added.
