By the following day, the twisted teacher has had a change of heart, and invites Jacob to meet her in the summerhouse so she can give him her ‘present’. But there’s a spanner thrown in the works when Liv unexpectedly arrives to find Jacob preparing his seduction scene.
Forced to think on his feet, Jacob tells Liv all the romantic touches are for her benefit, leading Aaron’s sis to contemplate sleeping with him. As the teens get steamy, a vengeful Maya is watching everything through the window. What will she do?
Unable to ignore Jean’s increasingly on-edge behaviour, Stacey books her a doctor’s appointment to get some answers. But fearful of her daughter discovering the extent of her health problems, Jean sneaks away from the surgery before the doc has a chance to speak with her.
Later, Kat is alarmed to discover Jean’s appointment letter indicating she could have cancer, so confronts her. Going against Jean’s wishes, Kat shares the worrying news with Stacey, who is adamant she needs to get checked out straight away.
Feeling suffocated by everyone’s concern and terrified of what the future could hold, it’s the final straw for Jean when she overhears Kat and Stacey discussing her situation. Deciding she needs to be alone, the sick Slater packs a bag and heads for the station. Will Stace be able to find her missing mum?
With a little help from Macca, cunning Clayton stages a dramatic prison break at his father’s funeral, and goes on the run. While Shona is completely distraught not knowing her son’s whereabouts, David shows no mercy when he discovers she attempted to supply Clayton with drugs, and orders her out of his home.
Climbing into David’s car, Shona’s shocked as Clayton suddenly jumps in the vehicle, ordering her to drive him out of Weatherfield. After helping him hide out in a derelict warehouse, Shona begs her lad to hand himself in. But as Clayton tries to make a break for it, he realises the building is surrounded by police.
With nowhere to go, the criminal holds a knife to his mum’s back, and demands £10,000 and a getaway car, otherwise Shona dies. With Shona’s life on the line, and Clayton armed and dangerous, will the cops give into his demands?
Breda is alarmed when Goldie reveals her and Mercedes have managed to track down Sylver’s biological mum, who’s living in a nursing home. As Mercy takes Sylver to meet the woman who gave birth to him, Breda is further rattled to receive an anonymous letter containing a picture of Louis’s burnt belongings. Who is blackmailing her?
Meanwhile, at the nursing home, Sylver and Mercedes meet his biological mother Harriet, but the reunion isn’t the happy one he was hoping for. As a disappointed Sylver departs, Breda, who’s been secretly watching the meeting take place, approaches a visibly horrified Harriet and delivers her a sinister message.
What dirt does Harriet have on the unstable serial killer, and is she being lined up to become Breda’s next victim?
While Terese and Paul go public with their rekindled romance, Leo is throwing himself hard into the party scene to escape his agony. Just to add to the list of his woes, Leo learns he’s being sued by Vera Punt, the elderly resident he accidentally attacked. With his life in a shambles, Leo seeks solace in booze, and has a very public drunken meltdown in the middle of Ramsay Street.
Wanting to help, but knowing she’s not the best person to do so, Terese asks Piper to reach out to her embittered ex. It seems to do the trick, and as Piper and Leo enjoy a game of pool together, his black cloud begins to lift.
Suddenly overwhelmed by their connection, Leo oversteps the mark and moves in for a snog with a shocked Piper. Has he jeopardised their friendship?
With the custody battle for Kyle still raging on, vengeful Debbie can’t resist sticking the knife in when she warns Kerry to keep Cain out of the little’un’s life. But the gobby Dingle quickly lives to regret being so mean when she learns that Kerry has met with social services and is confident she’ll be granted full access to Kyle.
As Cain gets wind of what’s going on, he viciously lashes out at Dan, leading him to question whether Kyle really will be happier with him and Kerry after all. Given food for thought over the lad’s best interests, Kerry quizzes Pollard on Amy’s whereabouts, and starts digging for information on her daughter. Is Kyle’s mummy’s comeback just around the corner?
Ruby is feeling the nerves as she makes the final preparations for her event in Walford East. Following a few last minute hiccups, the bash finally gets under way, but there could be trouble ahead when Jay confides in Stacey that the police have been looking for the object of his affections.
Smitten Jay’s hopes of making his romance with Ruby official are dashed when he sees her cosying up to potential client, Lewis. Misreading the signals, Lewis tries to make a move on Ruby, only for her to angrily order him away and cause a scene.
With the atmosphere soured, the evening comes to an abrupt for Ruby as she gets an unexpected arrival. Who has come to pay her a visit, and what do they have to say?
The pressure of keeping her abortion a secret is weighing heavily on Amy this week. Panicked over her next baby scan, which is still booked, the schoolgirl is left squirming when Steve suggests they could find out the sex of her unborn bubba. Sensing her daughter’s anxiety, Tracy takes the day off work to spend quality time with Amy, but the teen is already trying to figure out a way of getting out of her hospital appointment.
Later, as Amy enjoys a pamper at the salon, Bethany urges her troubled friend to be honest with her parents about her decision. But unable to find the words, Amy decides to lock herself in the bathroom instead, and refuses to go to the scan. Can Tracy and Steve get Amy to admit what’s upsetting her?
Confused over her growing feelings for Romeo, troubled Lily suffers a relapse as she begins self-harming again. Concerned Sinead spots the student’s injuries, and quick to inform Diane of what’s going on underneath her nose. Realising that her niece needs her friends around her, Diane invites Romeo over for tea, with the hope of getting him and Lily talking again. But will it work?
Later, an upset Romeo finds a shoulder to cry on in Cindy as he confides in her about his troubles. But when Lily spots the pair’s cosy chat, she gets the wrong end of the stick. Rejected by her crush, Lily continues to inflict pain on herself, leading Diane to confront her. Will the teen be able to finally open up and accept her auntie’s offer of help?
Married man Brody has an attack of the guilts following his forbidden kiss with trainee chef Simone. However, instead of ‘fessing up his indiscretion to Ziggy, Brody chooses to keep schtum. Following his wife’s orders, Brody tells Simone that her days working at Salt are over, and asks her to leave. But as she packs up her possessions, it’s clear Brody is having second thoughts about letting Simone walk out of his life.
Suspicious Justin picks up on his brother’s cagey behaviour, and after learning the truth, tells Brody he must keep his distance from Simone. Trying to stay strong, Brody says a bittersweet goodbye to Simone, insisting they can’t ever be anything more than friends. But hours later, he receives a text from her asking him to call her if things change. How long will Brody be able to resist the redhead?
