DOWNCAST Sherif Lanre was pictured today for the first time since being axed from Love Island as he arrived home in London.
The 20-year-old chef cut a glum figure as he stepped out of a taxi, covering his eyes with sunglasses and wearing a cap.
He remained stony-faced as he walked to his home holding his phone and listening to music.
The reality star completed his casual look in a blue hoodie and jeans.
Earlier today he broke his social media silence after being removed from the villa for “breaking strict rules.”
He wrote on his Instagram story: “Thank you to everyone including my friends and family for the support I’ve come back to.”
“I appreciate you all and hope I provided some good, positive moments during my time on Love Island.
“And for anyone wondering I’m all good.”
He then made light of the situation, adding: “#itiswhatitis “BiggerThingsToCome.”
Sherif has also been banned from spin-off show Aftersun after being axed for breaking villa rules.
He will not be interviewed by host Caroline Flack on Sunday’s episode where dumped Islanders are normally given a chance to speak about their experience.
A TV source said: “There are no plans for Sherif to appear on Aftersun.
“The show is reserved for dumped Islanders and Sherif left under unforeseen circumstances.”
Last week Caroline welcomed Callum Macleod on her sofa to discuss his stint on screen with celebrity guests Joel Dommett, AJ Odudu and last year’s winner Jack Fincham.
But Sherif won’t be given the chance to discuss his shock exit from the series − after making a mutual decision with producers to leave.
was thrown out for breaking villa rules — which include a strict ban on masturbation.
The former semi-pro rugby player admitted after leaving nine days in: “I didn’t conduct myself in the right way.”
Producers on the ITV2 show refused to reveal what he did.
Sherif’s mum Diana said: “I don’t know the real reason yet, but I’m determined to get to the bottom of it.”
Sources say Sherif spent long periods alone in bed and hiding in the shower. One told The Sun: “He’s been refusing to get up and take part in chats with the others and said he didn’t like any of them.
“When producers told Islanders they have to get ready to film a challenge, Sherif was deliberately spending ages in the shower. He said he couldn’t be bothered.”
Sources claimed he contacted the outside world while in the villa but bosses would not confirm or deny it.
Sherif said in a statement: “In a case of poor judgement, I broke the villa rules and as a result agreed with the producers it was best for me to leave.”
There were no scenes with Sherif in tonight’s episode, with his departure only acknowledged in the narration.
Anna Vakili, who Sherif had paired up with, is staying and can meet someone new.
A Love Island spokesman said: “After breaking villa rules Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed he would leave.”
